Manufacturing Foundation: A 20,200 m² Campus and an End-to-End Quality Control System
Zhongtong Biochemical’s manufacturing roots date back to 1996. The company’s industrial park is situated at the foot of Dafu Mountain in Panyu District, Guangzhou, covering a total area of 20,200 square meters. The facility boasts a building area of 35,000 square meters, comprising 13,000 square meters of production workshops and 15,000 square meters of warehousing space. Designed and constructed in accordance with GMPC standards, the production base features Class 100,000 cleanrooms for cosmetics manufacturing and has a monthly production capacity of 10 million units. Its product portfolio spans facial care, hair care, body care, essential oils, powder masks, eye care, and skincare products for children.
Regarding quality control, the company has secured multiple international certifications—including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 22716 (Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics), and GMPC (US Standard)—thereby meeting market access requirements for international regions, including the European Union. The production base is equipped with over 60 precision instruments and devices, such as automatic potentiometric titrators, Karl Fischer moisture analyzers, fully automatic melting point apparatuses, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers. It has established a comprehensive quality assurance system that covers every stage of operations, including product R&D, material procurement and testing, production, product inspection, and warehousing and logistics. Zhongtong Biochemical ranks at the forefront of the contract manufacturing industry in terms of R&D investment.
